My Bourjois Aqua Laque Rouge Edition Liquid Lipstick Haul

Bourjois in my opinion, have some fantastic products out at the moment and these new Aqua Laque liquid lipsticks are no exception. Just look at the pretty colours that are just some of the range available. I love the packaging, how sleek and elegant they look, with the metallic lids, and at £8.99 I think they are really reasonable. They come with doe foot applicators and so they are so easy to apply and a lot of the time you don't need to wear a lip liner with them, if you don't want to. I love the lipstick formulas themselves, they are really good and so let's dive in and discuss more about each one. The first one I picked up is #01 Appechissant.

This is a gorgeous peach/coral shade and is such a pretty neutral if you like more subtle shades on the lips. The liquid lipstick feels instantly cooling as you apply it and is quite a thin consistency but goes on very smoothly. It does have a little bit of a fragrance to it, and so some people may be put off by that but it doesn't put me off as it is not too overpowering. With the thin formula, it means that you can build up the level of opacity that you want from the product, which I really like. The next shade is Babe Idole #08

I love this colour. It is much more cool toned than the previous shade. It definitely has some blue tones to it and is a true baby pink . Again, applies beautifully, and this formula feels very moisturising to your lips, not drying in anyway, and does last a good 4 or 5 hours on me, which is good staying power for a liquid product. Next is a stunner and is a must if you are a fan of the classic red lip look, its #06 Feeling Reddy.

This is not a lip colour for the faint of heart. This is an in your face red, that everyone will stop and stare. It is a beautiful shade and has just a tinge of orange to it. I love this and will wear it on nights out or special events. Next is #07 Fuschia Perche, a gorgeous bright pink shade.

This is another pretty colour and seems a lot more opaque in colour than the other lighter shades. It is a good choice if you find that the red is a little too intense and "out there" for you. The next colour is #02 Love On The Rocks.

I would definitely call this my natural lip colour but better shade. I really like this one and is perfect for if you are just having a lazy day at home, but still feel you want a lip colour on if you need to pop somewhere quickly. I love that the doe foot applicator picks up just enough product to cover your whole lip area and you don't need to keep dipping it back into the bottle. Last but not least is shade #04 Viens Si Tu Roses.

This shade is, I would say the darkest of the 6 colours that I chose. It is a very pretty rose/burgundy tone and is really pretty on. I would say though this one did feather outside of my natural lip line and so a lip liner I feel, would need to be worn with this shade in particular.

Overall, I love these liquid lipsticks. They have a good variety of colours, the price point is fantastic for the amount of product you get. The pigmentation is good too, and buildable which is what I like from a product. I would recommend this line if you are in the market for a new lip colour. Let me know which colour stands out to you as your favourite.

Love and Hugs.
